Heavy Damage Caused by Burst Pipe

Big damage caused by a small pipe... the clean water supply line to the toilet in the master bedroom burst while the family was away on vacation in Hawaii. The water ran for three days, almost 20,000 gallons worth! 

Our SERVPRO technicians removed the wet carpets and pads and were able to dry the structure. Furniture and contents were left on site because we were able to reduce indoor humidity and prevent secondary damage to the contents. Most of the home was dried within three days and all of the home was dried within five days. This amount of time is important because the EPA says that mold should not grow and become a problem when structures are dry in just a few days. Small pipe break, big damage, but could have been far worse.
